Grand View Resort Beitou, Taipei

Designed by Li Zuyuan, the designer of Taipei 101, the 5-star Grand View Resort Beitou occupies a hillside location overlooking Danfeng Mountain. The 80-room property incorporates timber-framed interiors and natural cypress trees into its structure. The hotel sits 800 metres from Beitou Thermal Valley and less than a 10-minute drive from XinBeitou and Beitou metro stations.

All 80 guest rooms include a private balcony with a sitting area and mountain views. Each room is equipped with a private hot spring bath and a separate cold water bath for exclusive guest use. Rooms also offer a flat-screen TV, a DVD player, and tea and coffee making facilities.

The resort operates three on-site restaurants, including a Michelin-recommended Chinese restaurant and a French restaurant. An executive chef prepares dishes using the finest local produce, with both Chinese-style and Western-style options on offer. Breakfast presents a choice between a Taiwanese-style set menu and a Western-style set menu.

The comprehensive wellness spa provides beauty treatments, hot spring baths, massage, body wraps, and facial treatments. Public bathing facilities include an outdoor swimming pool with sun loungers, a sauna, a steam room, and hot spring baths. The property has been awarded 'Best Hot Spring Hotel' for its facilities and service.

A complimentary shuttle service transports guests to and from Beitou metro station. The hotel offers meeting and banquet facilities, a business centre, and a 24-hour front desk with concierge services. Valet parking, laundry, and dry cleaning services are available on the property.
